Estepona Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 course designed by José Luis López and opened in 1989. It’s set just inland from the main coastal road (around kilometre 150) near the town of Estepona.
⛳Course Characteristics
The course makes excellent use of the natural terrain: it is slightly hilly, with plenty of elevation changes.
Most holes offer views of the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the nearby Sierra Bermeja mountain range.
Fairways are wide, and greens are large, giving both challenge and playability for golfers of all levels—not overly punitive for higher handicaps.
Notable hole: the 14th is a standout par-3, both visually impressive and demanding.
Natural features like palms, eucalyptus, wild olive trees are prevalent, giving a lush and scenic atmosphere.
