Introduction to Nueva Andalucia, Marbella, Costa del Sol

Home to the rich and famous, Nueva Andalucía has evolved into an extensive residential area with a large population of permanent residents from all over the world and which is also forms part of the Marbella Golf Valley due to its concentration of famous golf courses of Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, Aloha, La Quinta and Los Arqueros to name a few.

Nestling behind Puerto Banus at the foot of the magnificent La Concha Mountain, Nueva Andalucia is perfectly placed on the coast to enjoy the delights of central Marbella in addition to other towns along the coast. Established by Jose Banus almost four decades ago the modern Puerto Banús is a jet setters paradise, situated to the West of Marbella, it enjoys approximately 5 million people each year. Inside the port it is unlikely you will need transport because everything is within walking distance.

During the day you and choose to stroll along its lovely beaches along the long promenades that now connect with Marbella or around the high end boutiques offering designer clothing, jewellery and accessories to high street fashion. Home to a wide variety of clubs, cafes, discos and the Casino Marbella, Puerto Banús comes alive most evenings (and virtually every night of the week during the summer months) as revellers are given the chance to experience the beautifully lit marina until the early morning and sometimes even later. Low-key pubs and internationally known discos, such as Dreamer's Nightclub, share the Puerto Banús nightlife, providing something for everyone.
