Zoo de Castellar
Zoo de Castellar is an animal rescue centre and zoo located in the hills of Castellar de la Frontera in Cádiz province. It opens its gates to the public to provide both an educational experience and support for rescued animals. It was founded to help animals resulting from seizures by the authorities. These animals, victims of a growing black market, found themselves in a situation where no one was taking care of them. Our animal rescue center, as a private initiative, began to take in these abandoned animals, who deserved to continue living with the best possible care. Today, we have become an attraction for the public due to the interaction and closeness with a multitude of animals, with the initiative to create a natural and unforgettable bond between the visitor and the animal.
